1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text values stored by a browser to maintain sessions, remember choices or—with consent—measure usage.
2. Cookies and browser storage currently used
- pu-locale: first-party preference cookie for Chinese/English selection; up to 12 months.
- pu-cookie-consent: essential first-party record of optional-cookie choices; up to 6 months.
- pu_session: first-party HttpOnly security cookie used only after administrator sign-in; 8 hours.
- pu-analytics-visitor: a random session identifier created only after analytics consent and stored in sessionStorage until the browser session closes; the server stores only its HMAC-anonymised value.
3. Analytics and marketing
After analytics consent, the site records anonymous page path, time, language, coarse device and source category for the live dashboard and seven-day trends. Raw anonymous events are retained for up to 90 days. IP addresses, full user-agent and full referrer URLs are not stored. The site does not use marketing cookies, advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. Managing and withdrawing choices
Use “Cookie preferences” in every page footer to change or withdraw your choice. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect portal browsing. Clearing browser cookies may cause the notice to appear again. Browser or Global Privacy Control signals may further restrict cookies.
