This notice applies to the Global PU Alliance portal, member directory and operations workspace. The alliance website operations team operates the site. Before public launch, the actual operator must add its full registered name, address and governing jurisdiction.
2. Information we handle
- Names, organisations, roles, contact details and enquiries you send by email.
- Authorised member company names, locations, capability descriptions, technology tags and contact information.
- Administrator identifiers, secure sessions and content activity records.
- IP address, device/browser details, timestamps and basic server logs needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Language preference, cookie-consent record and secure sign-in cookies.
- With consent, anonymous page path, timestamp, language, coarse device and source category; analytics records do not store IP, full user-agent or full referrer URLs.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Operating the directory and responding to membership or partnership enquiries.
- Securing accounts, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations.
- Measuring traffic and improving content after analytics consent; the site does not use advertising or cross-site marketing tracking.
- Publishing company or contact information based on authorisation, contractual necessity or another applicable lawful basis.
4. Sharing, sale and international transfers
We currently do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Limited disclosure may occur to contracted hosting, security, email or other necessary service providers, or where required by law. Any future international transfer will use notices and safeguards required by applicable law.

We retain information only as long as needed for these purposes, disputes and legal duties. We use access controls, protected sessions, input validation, least privilege and security headers, but no internet system can promise absolute security.
